The Listen Labs mobile app allows participants to access and complete studies created by organizations using the Listen Labs platform. The App itself collects very limited information and primarily acts as a viewer for study content hosted on our website (https://listenlabs.ai).

2. Information the Mobile App Collects

The Listen Labs mobile app is designed to collect as little personal data as possible.
The App itself does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information, except for temporary access to device hardware when required by a study.

2.1 Camera and Microphone Access (If Required by a Study)

Some studies displayed inside the App may involve recording audio or video.
In these cases, the App will request permission to access your:

• Microphone (audio)

This access is used only to enable the study task.
The App does not store or transmit recordings; recordings are submitted directly to the Listen Labs website and processed according to our Study Privacy Policy.

2.2 No Other Data Collection by the App

The App does not collect:

• Names

• Email addresses

• Phone numbers

• Contact information

• Location data

• Device identifiers

• Browsing history

• Analytics or performance data

• User accounts or logins

The App also does not access your photos, files, contacts, messages, or any other device data.

3. Information Collected Through Study Content (WebView)

The App displays study content using an embedded WebView (similar to viewing a website in a browser).
Any data you submit within a study—such as text responses, recordings, or contact information requested by the study creator—is processed on the Listen Labs website, not by the App itself.

This WebView data is governed by the Listen Labs Study Privacy Policy, not this App Policy.

Apple classifies WebView data as website data, not app data.

4. How We Use Information Collected Through the App

Because the App itself does not collect personal information, our use of App-level data is limited to:

• Displaying study content

• Enabling study functionality (e.g., camera or microphone access)

• Submitting study responses through the WebView

We do not use App-level data for analytics, marketing, tracking, profiling, or advertising.

The App does not use cookies and does not implement tracking technologies.

However, study content loaded from the Listen Labs website may use cookies or similar technologies, as described in our Website Privacy Policy. These cookies relate to the website, not the App.
